Ram Island Ledge Light Station

Ram Island Ledge Light Station is a historic lighthouse located on Ram Island Ledge, a rocky outcropping in Casco Bay, Maine. The lighthouse was built in 1905 to aid navigation through the busy shipping channel that passes through the bay. The lighthouse is a cast-iron structure with a cylindrical tower that stands 77 feet tall. (Submitted by Shirley Beauchemin Thurston)
