Shreveport Municipal Auditorium

The Shreveport Municipal Auditorium is a historic performance venue located in Shreveport, LA. It was built in 1929 and is known for its Art Deco architecture and exceptional acoustics. The auditorium has hosted a wide range of musical genres, including jazz, blues, country, and rock. One of the most significant events to take place at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium was the Louisiana Hayride, a live radio broadcast that ran from 1948 to 1960.
