Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop was constructed in the French/Spanish colony during the 18th century and is one of New Orleans' older structures (and the oldest structure in the U.S. which contains a bar). It's also purported to be one of the most haunted venues in the French Quarter. The building is a rare example of briquette-entre-poteaux construction and was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1970. (Photo by Pam Moran)
