Built in 2001, the World's Largest Ceiling Clock is housed within the Rotunda of the Lexington Public Library. The clock has an amazing 5-story Foucault's Pendulum which demonstrates the rotation of the Earth around a fixed plane. Construction of the clock was no easy feat; a four-story scaffolding had to be built in order to erect the giant timepiece.
