Maquoketa Caves Natural Bridge

The rocky, natural bridge hangs 50 feet above Raccoon Creek and is connected to the cave system by a manmade trail. These geological formations are eons old. The caverns were once the home of ancient peoples as told by the pottery, tools, and weapons found in the system. When you visit this park you are walking in the same footsteps of people from thousands of years ago.
