This off-the-beaten-path destination is the perfect place to visit if you want to avoid the crowds but still experience an assortment of rare tropical plants and stunning ocean views. Walking tours are typically self-guided, but if you’re lucky, you’ll be able to get a guided tour if the owner is present. Many of the plants were imported to the islands via canoe by those attempting to preserve endangered plant species by transporting them elsewhere. Make sure to pick up a pamphlet containing a map of the 10-acre grounds and interesting facts about the botanicals. All in all, a lovely place to stop for a relaxing and leisurely stroll in a picturesque setting.
