Lida’s Field of Dreams

A small but pretty nature preserve is home to native plants and tortoises. This sanctuary has about 20 tortoises help to keep fast-growing weeds from growing out of control. The tortoises are huge, but by all accounts very friendly. You'll have to drive over some bumpy roads to get here, but this wonderful escape from tourist traps is well worth it!
