This clear-water spring is home to West Indian manatees and it is a popular spot for scuba divers and snorkelers. The park produces quite a bit of cool spring water daily. In the springtime, manatees swim upriver to the warmer waters which are popular for snorkeling and scuba diving. Other activities are canoeing, kayaking, hiking, and bicycling. There's also a picnic area with playgrounds and a full facility campground surrounded by red oak woods.
