Long Key State Park is a popular outdoor recreation area located in Layton, in the Florida Keys. The park covers over 965 acres and is home to a variety of unique plant and animal species as well as beautiful beaches and scenic trails. One of the main attractions of Long Key State Park is its stunning beaches which stretch for 2.5 miles along the park's coastline. Visitors can swim, sunbathe, and take part in a range of water activities, including snorkeling, kayaking, and fishing. The beach is also a popular spot for birdwatching as many different species can be seen flying overhead or resting on the sand.
