Henry Flagler's Overseas Railroad was a historic railroad that connected mainland Florida to Key West. The railroad was built by American industrialist Henry Flagler in the early 20th century and played a significant role in the development of the Florida Keys. The construction of the Overseas Railroad began in 1905 and was completed in 1912. It spanned 128 miles and featured 42 bridges, including the famous Seven Mile Bridge.
