Smithsonian Air and Space Museum

Perhaps one of the best-loved museums in DC, the SASM has the distinction of holding the largest collection of air and spacecraft in the world. From the time that air travel was conceived to the time of lunar missions, this museum has an impressive number of original artifacts while many others have only reproductions.
