Description:

Jessop's Tavern occupies a 1674 building that became home to barrel maker Abraham Jessop in 1724, giving the restaurant its name. Over the centuries the structure served many purposes before becoming a colonial themed tavern in 1996, complete with period style decor and a historic ambiance. The menu highlights hearty Old World comfort food, and guest favorites include Shepherd’s Pie, Fish and Chips, New Sweden Meatloaf, and the cast iron Chimay Lobster Mac and Cheese.
