Description:
Columbus Inn in Wilmington has roots dating back to 1798 when the building first operated as a bakery and it became known as Columbus Inn by the mid nineteenth century as it served travelers along the old stagecoach route. After a major renovation in 2010 the restaurant reopened with a refreshed look and a seasonal American menu that blends classic and modern influences. Today it is known for warm hospitality and popular dishes such as crab cakes, pan seared salmon, maple bourbon short ribs, and steak frites.
