This 1,474-acre city park has everything you need for relaxing or exercising! Various hiking, biking, horseback-riding, and climbing trails to suit every personality...and every skill level. The park is known for its rouge sandstone formations of "hogbacks" - parallel ridges that look like natural staircases. From I-25, travel 3.4 miles westbound on Highway 24 toward Manitou Springs. Turn left or south on Ridge Road, then take your first left into the round-about. Take a right at the stop sign for the first parking lot or go straight to a second lot. A third parking area is located on 31 Street just south of Highway 24. (Submitted by Abi Weed)
