Manitou Incline

This ascent is said to be less than a mile but you might think you walked 20 by the time you reach the summit. The 2,744 steps are fashioned out of railroad ties and gradually form the trail for the incline and are one of the highest outdoor staircases in the world. This hike is only for the most fit - it is very difficult and will require a lot of physical endurance. To get there and start your climb drive Hwy 24 to Manitou Avenue.
