Historic Strater Hotel

The Strater Hotel, built in 1887, is a historic and iconic establishment in downtown Durango, Colorado. Situated near prominent attractions such as the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, Mesa Verde National Park and the Four Corners Monument, the hotel offers a gateway to the rugged beauty of the San Juan Mountains and the San Juan Scenic Skyway. Adorned with exquisite handcrafted woodwork, period wallpaper, and a remarkable collection of American Victorian walnut antiques, the Strater Hotel preserves the charm of the Old West.
