Description:

The Children’s Bell Tower in Bodega Bay, California, is a moving memorial to Nicholas Green, a young boy who was killed during a family trip to Italy in 1994. After his death, his parents donated his organs, saving seven lives and inspiring widespread support for organ donation, known as the “Nicholas Effect.” The 18-foot tower, created by sculptor Bruce Hasson, features 140 bells from Italy, including one blessed by Pope John Paul II. Set near the ocean, the bells chime gently in the wind, symbolizing peace, generosity, and the enduring legacy of a child’s life.
