Description:
Sarbalé Ke, meaning “House of Celebration” in the Bissa language of Burkina Faso, is a striking pavilion of towering, baobab-inspired structures located in Dr. Carreon Park in Indio, California. Originally created for the 2019 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, the installation was relocated to a permanent home where its vibrant steel and wood towers cast dramatic shadows by day and glow warmly by night. It serves as both a visual landmark and communal gathering space, inviting visitors to explore its open trunks and walk through the heart of its celebration-shaped architecture.
