Palos Verdes Sea Caves

Along the rugged Palos Verdes shoreline there is a series of caves. The largest, and probably the most photogenic, is located at Sacred Cove in Rancho Palos Verdes. To get to the cave, park at Abalone Cove Shoreline Park (pay lot), then walk south on Palos Verdes Dr. S for about 0.6 miles till you reach the Sacred Cove View Trail on the right. Follow the trail down to the beach. When you hit the beach, make a right and keep walking till you reach the cave. Remember to go at low tide and keep in mind that Sacred Cove is a clothing optional beach, so you might see more than you'd expect!
