Description:
Cadillactus is a striking public sculpture by Roger Reutimann in Palm Springs, California, made from painted steel and stainless steel, incorporating vintage 1959 Cadillac taillights as its “fruit.” Standing roughly 12 feet high and 8 feet wide, the work cleverly merges classic car‐culture details with desert cactus forms to symbolize creativity. It marks the western end of the “Pillars of Palm Springs” installation, installed in April 2024.
