Description:

Beetle Rock itself is a large granite outcropping that provides visitors with stunning panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Kaweah River. The rock is named after the Western Pine Beetle, which infested the area in the 1960s and 70s, causing extensive damage to the trees.
