Description:

The last operable swinging bridge in the state was first opened in 1914, but had to be rebuilt in the 1980s after a devastating flood. It allowed pedestrians, horses, wagons, and loaded trucks cross the creek, and today cars can still travel on the one lane bridge. There are campgrounds nearby as well as attractions such as Blanchard Springs Caverns and Mirror Lake Dam.
