For a mere 10 bucks, you can dig for real gems at Crater of Diamonds State Park! Diamonds, amethyst, garnet, and quartz of many colors can be found here but bring your own equipment. Otherwise, you'll have to fork over some more dough to rent or buy trowels and digging tools.
