OdySea Aquarium

It's counterintuitive - an aquarium in a landlocked, barren landscape of Arizona. Yet, Scottsdale has the largest aquarium in the Southwest U.S. 200,000 square feet hold more than 2 million gallons of water in which 6,000 animals of 370 species from around the world live. Interactive exhibits include SeaTREK underwater walking "Penguin Interaction Program" and "Shark Behind the Scenes" tours. Of course, there are always the simple but beloved touch pools.
