This hotel was first built in 1907. At that time it primarily served ranchers, miners, cowboys, and businessmen. A raging fire in 1928 destroyed much of the building, but it was restored using the same architectural plan - albeit grander materials and interior design. Today, the swanky structure is known for its high-class appointments such as marble floors and gold-leaf gilded columns. The reigning centerpiece is the rare Tiffany glass mural which is located in the grand lobby. (Submitted by William Harrell)
