Description:
Besh-Ba-Gowah Archaeological Park and Museum, located about a mile southwest of Globe, Arizona, preserves the ruins of a large Salado pueblo that was inhabited from roughly AD 1225 to 1400. Its cobblestone masonry room blocks, corridors, and communal plazas are partially restored, giving visitors a vivid window into Salado life. In addition to ruins, the site features a museum with pottery and woven artifacts, botanical gardens, picnic areas, and a gift shop.
