White Pass Scenic Railway

Saves: 20
Check-ins: 8
This Skagway expedition combines adventure, sightseeing, and history within the confines of comfortable, heated, vintage passenger coaches. You'll be taken up to the summit of the Pass which is an elevation of almost 3,000 feet. The train winds its way through mountains, gorges, waterfalls, tunnels, and historical landmarks such as the Klondike Trail of 1898. The journey is just under 4 hours so you might want to bring a little snack especially if you've got wee ones in tow. Although this railway is one of the best sightseeing offerings in Alaska, it isn't the cheapest - at over $100 bucks per person.
