Description:

Located at the largest seaplane base in the world, this museum is a fascinating look into the history of aviation in America's northernmost state. Much of the history is from WWII when Japanese forces occupied two of the Alaskan islands. This is a kid-friendly place too with interactive displays such as a real cockpit to sit in and a flight simulation exhibit.
