The Bragg-Mitchell Mansion, constructed in 1855 by Judge John Bragg, is a notable Greek Revival structure located on Springhill Avenue in Mobile, Alabama. Initially built for Judge Bragg's family to partake in Mobile's social season, the mansion became a symbol of the city's history. After Judge Bragg's death in 1878, the mansion changed ownership four times, with the A.S. Mitchell family acquiring it in 1931. The Mitchells maintained the historic home until 1965 when they sold it to the Explore Center in the late 1970s. The mansion was then designated a National Historic Place in 1972 and underwent $3 million in renovations.
