Mount Rushmore

This massive mountainside carving is a National Memorial carved into Mount Rushmore in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. The sculpture was completed in 1941 and is roughly 60 feet high and features the granite faces of U.S. presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. On the site, you'll also find a a museum with interactive exhibits.
