Bill Russell Statue

Bill Russell was a basketball legend who played for the Boston Celtics in the 1950s and 1960s. He was known for his incredible defense, rebounding, and teamwork. Russell led the Celtics to 11 NBA championships, a record that still stands. He also broke barriers as the first African American superstar in the league and used his platform to support civil rights. His legacy is one of excellence on the court and activism off it.
