Description:

“O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree! Thy leaves are so unchanging!” The lyrics of the popular yuletide carol weren’t dreamt up from nowhere: at over 260 feet tall, 107 feet around, and approximately 2,000 years in age, The General Grant Tree is the second largest tree in the world and known as, coincidentally, “The Nation’s Christmas Tree.” Particularly during the Yuletide celebrations held under its snow-laden branches every year, the tree is an astonishing sight to behold.
